Irina is the founder of Staatz BD & Market Access Strategy and brings more than 25 years’ international life science industry experience in pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

She has held leading management positions in product development, international marketing, and business development in the international pharmaceutical industry. She also served as CEO for three biotechnology companies in Germany and in France. She has considerable experience in strategic and operative BD activities and has closed deals in excess of US$ 2.7 BN.

Her experience is spanning from strategy preparation and value assessment to execution across many indications and covering early as well as late projects.

Irina is also President of the German Pharmaceutical Licensing Group and a Board Member of the  European Pharma Licensing Council.

In addition she also serves as Vice Chairman for Innate Pharma SA, Chairman of the Board for Emergence Therapeutics  AG and Board Member of Aelis Farma SA.
