He has held leading management positions in product and corporate/business development.

He has considerable experience in strategic and operative BD activities and has closed deals in excess of US$ 2.1 BN.

He is the co-founder of MolMed Spa, Cytonet GmbH, Molecular Medicine LLC, Xantos Biomedicine AG. Ulrich is also the CEO of UP Biotech Management AG.

In addition, he did serve as General Partner at JSB Partners LLC, board member/chairman of various Biotech companies (Cytonet GmbH, Molecular Medicine LLC, MolMed Spa, Novoplant GmbH, Sovicell GmbH, Jadolabs GmbH, Riboxx GmbH, Sovicell GmbH) and the investment committee of the Federal Bank of Saxony/Germany.
